What do you use this magnet for?

Suitable for cabinet doors and flaps, latches in furniture, campers and caravans, and displays, exhibition stands and interior design. The rectangular shape provides a flat contact surface, convenient for mounting in slots and against flat surfaces. The two countersunk holes allow mounting with countersunk screws. In this version, the south pole is on the countersunk side. If you want two magnets to attract each other, combine a north pole version with a south pole version; two identical versions repel each other. Which screws fit in it?

Two 4 mm screws with a flat countersunk head. Do not tighten them too much: neodymium is brittle and can crack.

North pole or south pole: which one do I need?

In this version, the south pole is on the countersunk side. If you want two magnets to click together, also take the north pole version. If the magnet is used against steel, the pole does not matter.

Is it strong enough for a cabinet door?

For a regular cabinet door or flap, it is more than sufficient. For large or heavy doors, distribute two across the height.

Can I use it in a damp room or outdoors?

The NiCuNi coating is intended for dry indoor use. For damp areas, choose an epoxy coated magnet or seal the magnet.

How many north and south pole magnets do I order for a series of small doors?
